hi everyone

Just to give you some feed back as to where i am we had a meeting and all she did was go over the points we talked about in the last meeting and said if i wanted to there was a job in birmingham (i live in nottingham) I had already told them i am ok driving but dont like traffic jams so wht they was thinking about this offer i do not know.
they have arranged another meeting don't know when yet. my union think they are in a cornor and want me to loose it and then they can finnish me. and they did not know what to say when i pointed out some of the points from the down load that Rich put me on the site (thank you very much).

they also made them selfs look at bit silly as my union ask them if they knew what RA is and they said they had no idea they thought it would only last about 1yr and then it would be better. (i wish).

thanks for the support will keep you in touch.

Hi Audrey ,

well it's good you are in discussion with them .. have you considered giving them a copy of the employer's guide found on this site HERE .( or is that the one you have already given them in another post?) You can order online . But bear in mind it mentions the DDA which has now been superseded by the Equalities act. Perhaps show one to the Union Rep to see what he thinks.
The important thing is that they are actually talking , and the fact they are will make them more aware of their responsibilities not just to you but to all their staff , now and in the future .

Hope it all goes well

Rich :)

Hi Audrey

Sorry to hear about your troubles at work. It is so annoying that employers do not understand.

Hope you are okay, at least you've got a good union rep by the sounds of it.

Michelle.x.

Hi Audrey,

Its unbelievable that they come into a meeting not even doing their homework first and have no idea what RA is.

Well lets just hope once they have read and are more aware they will be more sympathetic.

Keep going don't let them get you down, be strong.
